Note: untested version 2.0 has been uploaded to Planet Elder Scrolls. Some exteriors have been moved to avoid conflicts, and minor improvements to interiors have been made.
This plugin adds 20 homes to the game, each of which is available to rent from a ‘property agent’ NPC. The cheapest properties are simple shacks; the most expensive house is a sprawling manor in Ald’ruhn. Properties also include a Daedric and a Dwemer ruin, plus a houseboat and a ‘refurbished’ ruin in Old Mournhold.

Note: This mod was the *cough* winning entry in the Morrowind Summit modding competition.
Fenguverrmuch. You love me, you REALLY love me. etc.
Anyway, it was created in ten days, so if it seems a little rushed, that’s because, basically, it was.
Version 1.1 fixes a collision problem with a static used in the Molag Mar house.

4. What It Does
This plugin adds 20 homes to the game, each of which is available to rent from a ‘property agent’ NPC. There are various copies of a leaflet listing all the new properties, plus the name and location of the relevant property agent, along with a description and price. The cheapest properties are simple shacks in Seyda Neen and Khuul at 60 gold per month. The most expensive house is a sprawling manor in Ald’ruhn at 2000 gold per month. Properties also include a Daedric and a Dwemer ruin, plus a houseboat and a ‘refurbished’ ruin in Old Mournhold. The leaflets are usually found in taverns, including Arrille’s Tradehouse in Seyda Neen.

7. Bug Reporting/Known Issues
Conflicts with The Latest Greatest Housing Mod in Caldera (houses overlap)
Conflicts with Xia’s Imported Silk Dresses.
Conflicts with Archmage Tower (land levels) Pelagiad.
The ‘rent’ script uses locals as well as globals. The use of these locals enable the player to rent any number of abodes at one time, each keeping a separate DaysPassed tally. The downside of this is that the script only updates whenever the player is in the same cell as the property agent NPC. If you are honest or a dedicated roleplayer, and elect to pay your rent on time, you will simply see the script function as described i.e. the door re-locks every 30 days. If you are a dishonest little oik and squat in your abode when you know full well the rent is overdue, no punishment will appear and neither will the door re-lock (though you’ll have to remember to avoid whichever cell the landlord is in), but you’ll have to live under the weight of your guilty conscience. You have been warned.
