4. What It Does

Your Bosmer friend Ceridwen heard that you were looking for a place to stay, and since she’s off at the Arcane University, has allowed you the use of her magically-concealed apartment until you’re rich enough to afford your own dwellings.

The house is a basement in the Anvil style, accessed through a trap door inside the entrance to the Abandoned House. It has a comfortable bedroom, living area and kitchen, with enough clutter to be homely but enough storage space for a low-level character.

This was originally my first mod for Oblivion and as such it is basic and functional – pleasant for a starting character but not the nicest house in the game. It is intentionally free-to-use, since it is assumed that richer characters would want to live somewhere that at least had an extra bedroom. As promised from version 1.1, which came out just three weeks after the game’s release, this version has a bath you can sit in.

5. Credits

Everyone on the Elder Scrolls Forums, and Happy Hannah (Planet Elder Scrolls) for the inspiration with her first house.
