1. Installing the Plugin

To install the plugin, unzip the .esp file into the Oblivion/Data directory


2. Playing the Plugin

From the Oblivion Launcher, select Data Files and check the box next to the Princess Passwall Home.esp file.


3. Save Games

According to the CS readme, players should be able to add plugins to existing game without errors.



4. What It Does

Adds a new home to Passwall in one of the ruined statues:

  • Waterfall theme throughout
  • Four-poster bed in interior-as-exterior cell (weather-control scripts to prevent indoor rain)
  • Indoor garden with on-off light switch
  • Taps turn on and off
  • Scripted bath – fill with water and enjoy a soak
  • Static alchemy, enchanting/spellmaking altars
  • Scripted oven – bake bread if you have flour
  • Pet skeletal puppy
  • Two handsome servants (a Saint for the day and Seducer for night) to trade with, who have their own quarters
  • Two guest bedrooms for companions
  • Roof terrace
  • Secret entrance to/from Crucible, after you have passed the Gatekeeper
  • Fill the library at the touch of a button – if you have the right ingredients
  • Optional payment – use the ‘donation bloom’ to pay 5000g for the house. Or not.
  • Indoor pool
  • Dining and relaxation area
  • Display area with low-value items: use the respawning ‘waste bin’ in the bedroom to dispose of unwanted items
  • Plenty of storage throughout (about 70 useable containers total including chests, crates and cupboards)

6. Usage

As per Bethesda Softworks EULA. Please ensure that the file is kept intact with its readme, and that if you upload it that you ensure you have the latest version. If you use any part of this mod, please credit the author and respect the author’s wishes – particularly if it is something made by someone else.


7. Bug Reporting/Known Issues

  • Items sometimes shift from their editor locations and seem misplaced in-game. When I check in the editor, they’re present and correct. I believe this to be some form of savegame corruption.
  • The messagebox for the library doesn’t appear properly: the items you need to fill it are Elytra Ichor and Unrefined Greenmote. You can find these in the jewelry box in the bedroom.
