4. What It Does

When I first played Operation Anchorage, I resolved to make a home by the side of a beautiful lake to be accessed at any time by the player. The “cottage” is a two-bedroom house with two bathrooms, living room/hall, kitchen-dining room, and upper hall.

The hall-living room includes a nuka vending machine. The kitchen has ample storage. The lower bathroom has My First Infirmary and My First Laboratory. The upper hall (landing) has a Work Bench. There is one master (double) bedroom and one twin room with bunk beds.

The lake area is secluded and, though near to where the action takes place in Operation Anchorage, the play-area is not accessible from the cut-off bay where the house is situated. It is NOT recommended that the player leaves the bay area – the Anchorage surroundings are for aesthetic purposes only and it is not intended that the player should include the use of the house in the Anchorage quest, or try to access the OA play area at any time while using the house.

Access to/from the Wasteland is via a picket-fence gate to/from Silver’s House in Springvale. I thought it the most convenient, least intrusive way of adding a “dimensional portal”. The mod is pure fantasy, so no explanations are necessary.

Only the interior is navmeshed. The mod is not intended as a permanent residence – nor is it intended that you should stray too far from the interior.
